Digital technology has become part of our daily lives to such an extent that its presence is actually unquestionable to us. Nevertheless, it is often asked not only by teenagers, but also teachers who are actively working in the field of education that in what form can students use these technology related skills during their learning activities? The members of the Transylvanian Youth Association tried to find a solution to this problem.

The Digitool project, also known as the\u201d Strategic Partnership for youth Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices\u201d was launched in March 2021 thanks to the cooperation of four partner organisations. The participating members are Acarbio (Associazione Costiera Amalfitana Riserva Biosfera) from Italy, D’Antilles & Daimler from France, Solidarity Tracks otherwise known as Monopatia Allileggiis from Greece and the Youth Association from Transylvania.

The main objective of the project was to support the work of youth workers, strengthen their already existent digital skills and modernize the non-formal digital tools, especially those that are already in use. The project included a kickoff meeting and four seminars. The four seminars had different themes and took place in four different countries.

During the seminars, the partner organizations brought digital tools that they wanted to improve and make more user-friendly.Our organization perfected its digital tool called My ESC Diary, as well as three other methods that they worked on during the seminars \u2013 in addition, they worked with 3 more digital tools\/platforms, one brought by each partner. Each time, the partner associations participated with 5 participants, so a total of 20 people benefitted from the presentations.

The seminars included tutorial videos on these smart devices and how they can be improved and put into use. The last stop of the project was Martinique, where the participants closed the activities with the project coordinator association, with a special emphasis on a tool called Rescue, for which promotional videos were created. Although the project had its challenges, as the participants had to learn how to create tutorial-type videos, it still gave new skills to all those who participated in it.

Ultimately, the project achieved its goals, as it managed to perfect the digital tools created by the partner organizations, make them more user-friendly, and the participants were able to acquire new digital skills, which they could even use in the future for the benefit of their partner organization. The project will be finally completed in August 2023, but until then we are excited to see further updates.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
