From March 22–25, 2025, two of our youth workers participated in the Erasmus+ networking activity “Unite for Change” in the Czech Republic. The project brought together youth workers from various countries to exchange good practices, reflect on the challenges they face in their work, and develop new international initiatives. Organized by TOM Dumánci, the training aimed to build long-term partnerships and inspire new ideas in the field of youth work. Below you can read the report by Brigi, the representative of Transylvanian Hungarian Films from Odorheiu Secuiesc:
“This was my very first Erasmus+ training course so I was pretty excited to get started. To be honest, I felt a little nervous too, but it didn’t take long to realize I was in great company. 🌍
I met so many interesting and open-minded people from all around the world — all working on different Erasmus+ projects, just like me. It was really inspiring to hear about their experiences, how they approach their work, the challenges they face, and what works well for them. Through these conversations, several promising connections were made, which might even lead to future collaborations. 🤝
Outside the program, I was lucky enough to have some time to explore the city of Tábor 🏘️. The charming streets, old buildings, and cozy cafés made it the perfect place to wander and unwind. Walking around and taking in the atmosphere was a great way to step out of the daily routine.
All in all, Unite for Change turned out to be both professionally useful and personally fulfilling. I came home with new ideas, experiences, and connections — and I’m excited to carry all of them forward. 😊”
