It’s Here! The Booklet of the Seminar on Selection just arrived!

We are excited to share one of the most important outcomes of our Seminar on Selection, developed together with our international partners over the course of an inspiring week: the Selection Booklet is finally here!

This booklet did not come together overnight. It is the result of a week of collaborative thinking, professional discussions, and the shared experiences of the participating organisations. Inside, we have collected ideas, methods, and practical tips that we already use ourselves or are looking forward to trying out in our future Erasmus+ and ESC projects.

What will you find inside?

📌 How to create an engaging Info Pack:
We don’t only explain what information an Info Pack should include, but also how to make it visually attractive, easy to understand, and motivating for young people, with plenty of examples and illustrations.

📌 Participant selection step by step:
What information should you ask applicants for? Which questions are worth including? What should you pay attention to during the selection process? And what are the key competences of a good selector? The booklet offers practical answers to all of these questions.

📌 An ideal timeline for Erasmus+ and ESC projects:
The booklet guides you through the entire process—from promoting the opportunity and selecting participants to preparing the group and the final days before departure. A well-planned timeline can save organisers a great deal of stress and help avoid misunderstandings.

📌 Ownership: How to make the project truly belong to the participants
This was probably one of the most discussed topics during the seminar. The booklet presents simple, practical ideas for involving young people already during the preparation phase, giving them responsibility, and helping them arrive motivated, engaged, and ready to contribute.

We hope this booklet will become a useful resource for youth workers, project coordinators, and organisations involved in Erasmus+ and ESC projects whether they are just starting out or already have years of experience in the field.

As for us, we are already looking forward to the next opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and create something valuable together.

We hope you enjoy reading it and discover ideas that you can put into practice in your own projects. Happy reading!
