What is actually the OAT?
Hello, my name is Vesile. I arrived at the 6th of January to start my volunteer project here in Cristuru Secuiesc. I received a pre-arrival training before I came here. Next to that I also took part in another training after my arrival. I made a presentation about my organization and the way it handles the online education process. These preparation processes have helped me to become the person I am today.
I also have many responsibilities that I have to fulfill, next to emphasizing the importance of new people from different cultures, providing opportunity to learn new things from them and making trueful connections through highlighting the importance of solidarity and unity in the ongoing volunteering project. Next to that I also have to pay attention to preserve the language, culture, food and traditions of my own country. I learned so many things by taking part in these online lessons, for example I managed to understand and express myself better and recognize the necessity and importance of solidarity.
In my opinion online education makes a great contribution to social life. We did many activities during the training. We had different activities going on, sometimes we had to present our country, with other occasions we got some practical knowledge about Romania and had the chance to try its national dance as well. After the initial learning process we were divided into several groups and were asked a series of questions. I got good results at the education part of the questionarre, which made me really happy.
I am very proud of the process that I made and I would like to thank you for this opportunity for everyone who helped me to become a better person.
