EU WISE – Kick-off meeting!

On February 2 and 3 our NGO hosted the kick-off meeting of the “EU-WISE: Young Citizen Consumers” project, which is financed by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Commission. The online Zoom meeting was attended by project coordinators and financial managers from all partners, 10-12 people in total.

The partnership s built up of us, the Youth Association from Transylvania, as coordinators, and the partners are Equo Garantito from Italy, Fair Trade Advocacy Office, which is based in Belgium, Polish Fair-Trade Association from Poland and Project School, also from Italy.

The purpose of the kick-off was to get familiar among ourselves, to understand the work packages of the project and also the financial obligations. During the meeting we have managed to agree on the pending tasks, set up deadlines for the next months and started working on some of the templates and guidelines necessary to implement all the activities, mainly in connection with finding good practices on fair-trade and sustainable production and consumption, identifying stakeholders and target groups to involve in the project and the visibility and dissemination strategy.

Stay tuned for more updates. Soon we will have a project logo and a full visual identity.
