Daniel Arlandis Lucha – Spain

Hi! I am Dani and I am 21 years. I am from Valencia, a big town in Spain, and
studied cinema and photography.

I am here to take photos, videos and make a documentary for ATA. This is a big
challenge for me and a big opportunity to show to the world what is ATA.

I am very exited to learn a lot here ; improve my English,
learn Hungarian, learn about nature.

On 12
th and 13th of May 2021 our NGO hosted the first transnational meeting of STEP 1 project which took place online due to travel restrictions. The Zoom meeting were attended by program coordinators and youth workers from all partner organizations and also 4 volunteers, 2 from Psientífica/ CJA and 2 from Youth Association from Transylvania (ATA).

The project’s goal is for young people to acquire and recognize their skills and the importance of adopting critical and conscious thoughts and attitudes, essential for social transformation. The themes discussed during the kick-off meeting were the diagnosis of local practices, the communication strategy, preparation for the development of content and materials for closest activities, we were talking about the training course, and the content of the final guideline.

The coordinator of the project is Psientífica (Portugal), partners are Aventura Marão Clube (Portugal), You In Europe (Greece), Imagina (Spain), Just Do It (Poland), Youth Association from Transylvania (Romania). Project STEP1 is supported and financed by the Portuguese National Agency Erasmus+ Youth in Action.

I’m an anthropologist so I love to travel and learn about different cultures.

On February 2 and 3 our NGO hosted the kick-off meeting of the “EU-WISE: Young Citizen Consumers” project, which is financed by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Commission. The online Zoom meeting was attended by project coordinators and financial managers from all partners, 10-12 people in total.

During November, December and January we have been mainly working on the curricula of the second group of tailormade workshops for a new group of young adults with disabilities, this time collaborating with the Orban Foundation from Odorheiu Secuiesc and with their young and young adult clients with disabilities. keep reading

In its final stage the 3 year long Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership called “TRY – Educational Approaches and Self-Management Practices (TRY)” shares the main project’s results and outputs with the objective to facilitate the implementation of Non-Formal Education for the promotion of Participation, Autonomy and Sustainability.

In the May 2021-February 2022 period we, the Youth Association from Transylvania, will host 10 volunteers from the EU for 9 months, in the small town of Cristuru Secuiesc, Romania, through an already approved European Solidarity Corps project. The candidates have the choice to be active in 8 different areas: support person for entities working with disabled youth (1), for kindergartens (2), for herbalists (3), for the www.keresztur.info news portal (4) and for the host organization (5), manager of up-cycling education (6) and puppet show group (7) and as promoter of rural traditions (8). keep reading

We are glad to announce that the European Commission has approved our Erasmus+ project called “EU-WISE: Young Citizen Consumers” which was submitted by us within the call EACEA/34/2019, social inclusion and common values: the contribution in the field of education and training. The project started in the beginning of December, this year and will last 2 years until the end of 2022. The project is coordinated by us and the partners are Equo Garantito from Italy, Fair Trade Advocacy Office, which is based in Belgium, Polish Fair-Trade Association from Poland and Project School, also from Italy.
